Larger Spans: Steel is stronger than concrete, enabling the construction of structures with wider spans, creating more spacious and luminous interiors.
Longevity: Steel is more durable than concrete, resulting in structures with a longer lifespan and lower maintenance requirements.
Superior Earthquake Resistance: The flexibility of steel makes it significantly more resilient to natural disasters like earthquakes compared to concrete, enhancing safety.
Fast and Efficient Production: Steel is ideal for prefabrication, which accelerates construction processes and helps reduce overall costs.
Excluding site infrastructure work, our production process is roughly as follows: Industrial-quality steel plates are precisely cut, bent, and drilled for assembly using CNC technology. Each component is marked with navigation codes for easier assembly and a unique serial number for identification and authenticity. All parts are assembled in an “initial assembly” phase to verify system accuracy. Electrical, water, wastewater, climate control, and electronic systems are integrated into the tested structure. The disassembled system is then treated with anti-corrosion coatings and first-phase insulation. Finally, it is packaged for transport and shipped to the site for final assembly, where the second installation and second-phase insulation are completed.
Your MODULAR DOME steel geodesic home can be standardly produced in any solid color or two-tone option of your choice. Extra visualization requests such as gradient color transitions, camouflage patterns, etc., are subject to additional pricing based on the design.
Yes, MODULAR DOME structures are considered highly resistant to earthquakes. The geodesic dome form naturally distributes loads evenly. Combined with the superior strength and flexibility of steel, these structures exhibit exceptional resistance to seismic activity. Durability depends on factors like the dome geometry, steel quality, sheet thickness, and assembly quality.
Yes. MODULAR DOME models are designed through comprehensive engineering studies, considering the world’s most challenging weather conditions. They show high resistance to heavy snow, rain, wind, and storms. They are built with the philosophy of providing comfortable living even in extreme conditions like the Arctic and Antarctic. Their reliability has been proven in various projects, including research facilities, science centers, and industrial structures.
Every MODULAR DOME you own comes with a unique Identity (ID) number etched onto all steel components of the outer shell. This system not only adds a unique collection value to your structure but also allows for the reproduction of any damaged parts according to original specifications.
Although it varies by model and size, the manufacturing and preparation process for MODULAR DOME structures typically takes 20-30 days, while on-site assembly generally takes between 6-10 days.
Heating and cooling solutions for MODULAR DOME structures are flexible and depend on the regional infrastructure and the investor’s preference. Sales contracts can include options for electric systems, radiators, underfloor heating, and other modern climate control systems.
Foundation, infrastructure, and floor platforms are typically considered external services. However, they can be included in the sales contract upon the investor’s request. It is essential that the infrastructure is designed to be compatible with the superstructure and ready before installation. While not its primary focus, MODULAR DOME can provide consultation and support throughout these processes.
The placement of windows and doors in MODULAR DOME structures is pre-defined through engineering optimization. However, projects can be reshaped based on land conditions, views, solar orientation, prevailing winds, and legal requirements. Such revisions may affect the cost.
Yes. You can order only the outer shell (including windows, doors, utilities, and insulation) and have the interior designed and built entirely to your taste by an independent contractor or an architect of your choice.
